What’s next?

The Choosing our Future "Have a Say!" campaign is now closed.

Thanks to all who participated with great ideas for how to make Canada's Capital Region more sustainable. The 'crowdsourcing' campaign was a huge success and shows how excellent ideas for a sustainable future can come from the community itself.

We asked:

  • What's your idea for how the Cities of Ottawa and Gatineau and the National Capital Commission (NCC) can make our Capital Region more sustainable?
  • What choices will you personally make to create a more sustainable future?

Who were the prize winners?

Congratulations to Julie Gourley, the iPad Grand Prize Draw winner! Julie posted the idea on a “property tax break for eco-energy upgrades to homes”.
